Christmas 2017
It will soon be December, and in a very short time the Christmas festivities will be here. The time away from work that some of us will enjoy over the period will be a welcome break after a very busy 2017. Everyone at Eurofins across New Zealand wishes you all the very best for the end of 2017 and for the new year ahead!
From 22 December until early in the New Year all the Eurofins labs across the country will be operating at reduced staffing levels, so we are asking our customers to consider their sampling programme over this period.
If you can plan your sampling runs to fall towards the start of December then we will be in a better position to get your report back to you before Christmas.
We suggest you sample prior to 14 December with delivery by Friday 15 December before 4pm. Any samples received later than this date may be delayed until after the New Year.
Scheduled drinking water samples will be processed as per usual.
Christmas Hours
Over Christmas we will be open for office hours during the normal working days and on reduced hours during the stat days. Our sampling team will be on the road every day collecting samples of water and waste to ensure we all stay safe.
Courier deliveries take longer the closer Christmas gets, so if you are couriering samples to us during the festive season, please plan ahead and make sure the couriers are working the following day. If not, your samples may take longer to arrive, or sit in a depot for a few days before we receive them. This may lead to your samples needing to be collected again, and we don’t want that to happen.
Couriers are very busy leading up to Christmas so please also remember to pack plenty of icepacks around the samples to ensure they stay cool during extra-long delivery times.
