Meat Industry Water Testing - Update
The Ministry for Primary Industries has changed the accreditation system for registered laboratories. Previously, those laboratories with LAS (Laboratory Approval Scheme) approval were listed on the MPI website. The programme was administered by MPI and audited by IANZ.
In late 2015 the system was changed and RLP (Registered Laboratory Programme) was introduced.
This latest programme is still audited by IANZ but once a laboratory has been accredited under the RLP scope, the details of that accreditation are moved onto the IANZ website.
