Satellite Lab Opening in Canterbury
The steady but significant increase in sample numbers received at Eurofins-ELS during 2015 has continued into this year. To meet the growing requirements of our expanding customer base we have opened a new laboratory in Rolleston, Canterbury.
Mr Dan Westlake has been appointed Satellite Laboratory Manager – Christchurch and started in this role on 11 April 2016.
Dan is an honours degree in analytical chemistry and has worked in environmental, industrial and water laboratories in the UK and New Zealand. Prior to joining Eurofins, Dan was employed as an analytical instrument technical service and sales rep for a Christchurch based company.
Our new laboratory will perform microbiological tests as well as some basic chemistry, with the complex chemistry tests being sent to the Wellington laboratory. In addition to the analytical work, we will be offering an IANZ accredited sampling service for drinking water, swimming pools, trade waste and general environmental samples.
