Eurofins Company Structure in New Zealand
Eurofins is a global network of over 400 independent laboratories each operated as a separate company, whilst being able to draw on the collective experience and technical knowledge of a team of industry leading experts, with access to over 150,000 different analytical methods. In New Zealand Eurofins operates as seven different companies across eight physical locations around the country.
Each of the eight sites is led by a local manager who lives and works with the people in their community. This provides our customers with the local knowledge to support their laboratory testing needs, and is a great strength of the Eurofins model.
Eurofins represents a diverse laboratory service in New Zealand, with staff numbers at the peak of the fruit maturity testing season exceeding 600 FTE. While this makes Eurofins the largest laboratory network in the country, our business structure is often not well understood by our customers. The following table shows the company structure, testing service and laboratory locations that we operate.
