The Mayor of Selwyn District visits the Rolleston Laboratory

On Tuesday 29 May we were visited by the Selwyn District Mayor Sam Broughton who was keen to learn about the largest water and food testing facility in his electorate.

With an area of over 6,400 km2 and a population of almost 60,000, Selwyn is a district of contrasts: ranging from high mountains to low lying plains through long braided rivers to the culturally significant lake Ellesmere. Selwyn’s shape and diversity of land and water types and uses means that Selwyn has a need for a broad range of laboratory services. Eurofins is able to meet these needs from its base in the Rolleston iZone. The team at this site is able to cover all of the sampling and testing needs for the whole region and we are looking forward to building a strong relationship with Sam and his council team.
